At Southside Motors we understand what it means to save money and budget. We also undstand first hand that unexpected expenses always come at a bad time and sometimes having access to money can make the difference between getting a repair done and parking the vehicle for a while.
This is why we offer finaning options depending on what you need and how long you need it for. We also have a bank that we work closely with that can do a title loan on your vehicle if it is paid off. If this is an option you are interested please ask.

Option 1: Synchrony Finance.
Synchrony is very possibly a name you have heard of. If you have ever had a credit card at a department store, tire shop, furniture or for medical benefits you have very possibly had a synchrony credit card. Financing with Synchrony is very similar. If approved, they will issue you a credit card that you can use anytime your vehicle needs anything. This is a great option because they offere a variety of 0% promotions that can be choosed from (6 Months, 12 months, 18 Months or 24 Months).
Option 2: SNAP Loan
SNAP Loan Financing is very simple. If approved, you tell it what days you get paid and give it your bank account number and they withdrawl the payment automatically. It is also a lot easier to get approved than traditional financing. They also have a 100 day promotion for 0% if you pay it off with 100 days. This is a great option for smaller loan amounts.
About Our Auto Shop
Southside Motors is located in the old Rice & Son's building on Edmunds Street in South Boston. When we first moved here I had no idea what that was, but apparently all the locals do. Rice & Sons was a fantastic Auto Shop that operated from the 70's till they closed around 2012. Like us they were a family owned and operated repair shop that had a great connection with the community.
I feel like we have big shoes to fill, and we are proud to have the oppertunity to do so. We moved from a building aout the same size off Kentuck (729) Rd in Danville, Virginia. As much as we enjoyed our time in Danville, we have settled in to South Boston much better. The building has a more traditional automotive repair facility and as much as we never had the honor of meeting or knowing any of the Rice brothers, however we are starting to feel like we knew them. Since we have moved in, we have had many friends and family members of the family come and visit and tell us all about their story and their lives here in this building. Thank you to those of you who have been supportive and visited.
I would say support is a key in this story. The whole town in general has been very supportive of us joint their community. Even other repair facilities have told us they are glad we are here and even as much as sent us business. There is absolutely a need for automotive repair and we are not afraid to tacle it. We do everything from the simple stuff to big jobs.
